On Friday, November 18, 2016, the Congolese army deployed in operation Sokola 1 in Beni promised to present in the hours that would follow, hostages released by alleged ADF. Benilubero Online, which has been devoted to the issue of recurrent insecurity in the region for some time, has expressed a particular interest in following this event closely. In short, an audio extract has been extracted that makes it possible to draw with insight what is framing, in spite of the mediocre quality of the capture.
At first glance, all the declarations of these freed hostages appear as incredible surprises, raising a thousand and one questions rather than building opinions. One can discover above all a kind of advocacy in favor of these tormentors of the Nande community. Then, we see the peddling of a story full of diversions intentionally to disorient opinions on the reality, the background and the responsibility of the genocidal massacres in progress. Finally, there is a need to detect an effort to clear the authorities of heavy accusations that openly point them in complicity with the “practical” perpetrators of the tragedy which has already caused cruelly more than 1,500 dead and more than 1,000 missing persons.
However, BLO, conducting a systematic investigation after having infiltrated its investigators in all the areas presumed to be the scene of the exactions and massacres perpetrated by alleged ADF, vehemently denounces this umpteenth lie of the authorities mounted through a scenario wisely woven to continue to cover the truth about the ongoing anti-Nande genocide. Here are some highlights of this lie:
1. The identity of the slaughterers:
The message of the released hostages insists on some descriptive features: “They (those who abducted them) speak Swahili and Kinande of Uganda …” to make it believe that they are indeed the ADF, the Ugandan rebels. It should be noted that one of the main concerns of the Kinshasa government is to find a scapegoat to bear responsibility for its murderous executors whose sector is scandalously affecting the chain of command of the FARDC, according to all reports (local and International) seeking the perpetrators of the massacre crimes in Beni. How many times did we have evidence that those who come to kill use the Kinyarwanda language, that they benefit from the logistical, material, strategic and even technical and human support of the FARDC elements?
2. The claim of the killers:
By deeply analyzing the hostages’ message, there is reason to believe that the main claim of the killers, if not alleged ADF, is to inform the Congolese authorities and the international community that the space they inhabit belongs to them by right. To legitimize the crime perpetrated in the name of their determination to “occupy” this area, they cite an act of cession that would have been established since President Mobutu, and then confirmed by his successor Laurent-Désiré Kabila. Here is another lie or peddling still very badly mounted. Where in the world has a head of state assumed the prerogative of selling a plot of his national territory to a group of foreign rebels? A national territory has nowhere been privately owned by a President of the Republic who would cede it to whomever he likes, as he wants or when he wants …
Much more, why did it take more than two years to finally hear a word from the rebels claiming to act in their right? And what do they mean when they pretend not to be in animosity with the indigenous people or with the Congolese army when they are killing innocent people without mercy? Clearly, it is necessary to understand here a constraint of events and time that drives indigenous executioners and their accomplices in power to rethink their strategy by resorting to all the means within their reach.
3. Reason of massacre against civilians:
Referring to the messages reported by the ex-hostages, the alleged ADFs justify all the horrendous massacres of civilians only as an act of reprisal against those who denounce their positions and locations to the Congolese government army. Again, this is an arch-false argument. For more than two decades, the region of Beni knows the phenomenon of ADF / NALU. However, in no case have such retaliations been observed in their charge in spite of numerous tracking operations they have undergone. On the other hand, they have sometimes kidnapped innocent people and those who may have perished in their hands have been killed by shooting, but never by the kind of atrocity and cruelty currently in vogue (slaughter, belly opening, inoculation of metal objects or in the genital organs of women, decapitation, knocking of children against trees, etc. using manchette, hoe, ax, saw, hammer etc.) which are typically the Rwandan way of life that the world experienced during the various genocides has registered Rwanda.
4. Composition of the said killers:
The message of the ex-hostages stressed that their tormentors are composed of people of all ages (children, youth, adults of all sexes), groups of entire families (dad, mom and children). This composition is one of the truths which the local population has itself witnessed many times. In most operations of the slaughterers, they always come accompanied by women and children, often all well armed with rifle or white arms.
But then, it is almost impossible that such a crowd of troops (people) are the true classical ADFs known in the history of the region. It is true that the ADF phenomenon has permeated this environment for at least 20 years. However, it is also true that, several times, ADFs have been systematically crushed by a series of tracking to claim that they still have such a flowering. By way of illustration, between 1999 and 2003, the RCD / K-ML in collaboration with the UPDF had come to the end of these rebels, but it was never identified the kind of family atmosphere that this maquis is now experiencing. Similarly, after the recent search by the late Bauma against the same rebellion, it was officially declared that there were only a few dozen left in the forest, there had never been traces of families as a whole that are observed these days. Where would these multitudes of families (overflowing with children from 0 to 15 years of age) who suddenly resettled themselves in the indigenous landholdings, using terrible terrorist acts against them? – But the wave of migration movement of unknowns speaking Kinyarwanda to Ituri and Beni over the past two years is no secret to anyone. And, unfortunately, the massacre of aboriginal people was growing as this movement grew …
The regime of Kabila with its agents of the execution of the ground has therefore changed method in its plan of terrorism in Beni used as strategy of the shift of its power.
The presentation of the alleged ex-hostages these days is only a diversion intended to divert opinions and disorient observers and investigators who are digging the truth about the massacres (identification of the perpetrators) whose reports The balance of responsibility in the camp of the regime in place.
With this in mind, BLO, which has undertaken new investigations, has finally managed to penetrate all areas of the so-called ADF, and will soon return the results of its investigations to help stop definitively the course of false scenarios In which the supporters of Congolese power are mocking at the poor indigenous victims without defense or protection.
“It is thus understood the grave danger of any extension to the power of Joseph Kabila. Congolese worthy of the name must reject any form of transition. Indeed, given what is happening in Kivu- Ituri, any transition beyond December 2016 would allow time and resources to the Congolese government which is, obviously, an accomplice of the Rwandan occupation of Kivu-Ituri in progress “(Father Vincent Machozi, March 19, 2016, speech that earned his murder the next day)
