Our request is that you will take the opportunity of the 47th anniversary to call to mind of our Ugandans brothers and sisters the terrible fate of the 800 kidnapped Yira including innocent the three priests, and do what you can to intercede on our behalf for their liberation. As you know, your President Kaguta Yoweri Museveni is known as the backbone of the ADF/NALU and the M23 negative foransces that, as of today, continue to kill Yira, kidnap others, put on fire entire villages and force their inhabitants to flee and scatter in bushes. We believe that your call upon your president leadership in the liberation of our Yira brothers and sisters taken hostages by his supported negative forces may be of good avail and make a big difference. This move on your side will without doubt enforce and strengthen our friendship and cultural exchanges for the benefit of the whole region.
His Majesty, In the name of the Yira community of the D.R. Congo, we are glad to wish you a very pleasant 47th anniversary of the Businga of the Rwenzururu Kingdom.

Kyaghanda Yira Butembo, October 9, 2013
Open letter to his Majesty Charles Whesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma of Rwenzururu Kingdom
Object: Absence of the Kyaghanda Yira to the 47th anniversary celebration
His Majesty,
The Yira community of the Democratic Republic of Congo was very happy to receive your kind invitation to the 47th anniversary celebration of the enthronization of the Rwenzururu Kings that will take place on October 19, 2013. Unfortunately, this year, we cannot attend this celebration because of a conflicting agenda, namely, the 1st commemoration of the kidnapping of 3 Yira priests by the Uganda-backed negative forces called ADF/NALU.
In fact, as you may know, on October 19, 2012, while we were celebrating with you in Kasese the 46th anniversary of the enthronization in the Rwenzururu Kingdom, three yira assumptionnists priests were kidnapped at the rectory of the Catholic Parish of Mbau, in Beni territory, North-Kivu Province. As of today, more than 800 other Yira have been kidnapped in the same area and we know nothing about their real fate. Some people who pretend to have escaped from the hands of these outlawed Ugandans have said that the hostages are held in some kinds of concentration camps where women captives are taken as sexual slaves and men subjected to torture, brain washing about the Congo conflict, force labor in the mining sector and the wood ( timber) exploitation, etc. From these same reports, we learn that these outlawed Ugandans are dealers of human organs trafficking, organs they take from their killed captives, and that they even take pleasure in eating human flesh.
The date of October 19, 2013, day of the 47ther anniversary of the enthronization in the Rwenzururu Kingdom, corresponds unfortunately with the 1st commemoration of the sad kidnapping of our three assumptionnists priests. On this occasion the Yira community of the D.R.Congo, together with the Diocese of Butembo-Beni and the Religious Congregation of the Assumptionnists Fathers, are organizing many activities on which the Kyaghanda Yira cannot afford to be absent. It is because of this conflicting agenda, that the Kyaghanda Yira will not attend the 47th anniversary in Kasese. It will only be with you in spirit on this important day in the Rwenzururu Kingdom.
Our request is that you will take the opportunity of the 47th anniversary to call to the mind of our Ugandan brothers and sisters the terrible fate of the 800 kidnapped Yira including the three priests, and do what you can to intercede on our behalf for their liberation. As you know, your President Kaguta Yoweri Museveni is known as one of the backbones of the ADF/NALU and the M23 negative forces that, as of today, continue to kill innocent Yira, kidnap others, put on fire entire villages and force their inhabitants to flee and scatter in bushes. We believe that your call upon your president leadership in the liberation of our Yira brothers and sisters taken hostages by his supported negative forces may be of good avail and make a big difference. This move on your side will, without any doubt, enforce and strengthen our friendship and cultural exchanges for the benefit of the whole region.
His Majesty, In the name of the Yira community of the D.R. Congo, we are glad to wish you a very pleasant 47th anniversary of the Businga of the Rwenzururu Kingdom.
